DESCRIPTION
Ink impeller for tattoo machine.
Object of the invention
The present invention relates to an ink impeller for tattoo machine.
The ink impeller comprises an embolus connected to a rod that runs inside a body and divides it into a first portion through which the rod runs and a second portion filled with ink, which leaves it through an outlet port, and drive means comprising a motor that transmits a rotating movement to a transmission, which transmits a linear movement to the rod.
Background of the invention
In the known tattoo machines, the ink supply is made by wetting the tip in ink, similar to how it was previously used with writing pens. This makes the tattoo process uncomfortable, since many times the tip must get wet in the ink. In addition, the contribution of ink by wetting the ink causes the amount of ink collected to be different at all times, so that the user must wet the tip again, when the amount is insufficient, or remove the excess in a pan, When the quantity is too much.
In short, the amount of ink that reaches a tip of a tattoo machine is not controlled and is uncomfortable and tired of contributing.
Thus, the present invention covers the need for tattoo machines to have an adequate and controllable ink supply.
Description of the invention
The object of the invention is an ink impeller for a tattoo machine that supplies the ink to the tip of the machine in an automatic and controlled manner. The technical problem to be solved is to configure an ink impeller so that the aforementioned object is reached.
The ink impeller for tattoo machine is characterized in that it comprises at least one dispensing assembly which in turn comprises an embolus connected to a rod. A stroke is a piece that moves alternately inside a body to move a fluid. The rod is connected at one end to the embolus, thus allowing it to act on the embolus even when it is located inside the body.
It also characterizes the impeller that the embolus runs inside a body and divides the inside of the body into two portions: a first portion through which the rod runs and a second portion filled with ink, which leaves said second portion through a hole of output practiced in the body. That is, the plunger drives the ink during its movement.
In addition, the impeller comprises at least one drive assembly comprising a motor that transmits a rotating movement to a transmission, which converts the rotating movement into a linear movement that is transmitted to the rod, thus the rod that is attached to the plunger. transmits to this the linear movement, with which

as it advances inside the body, it makes the second portion of the body smaller and pushes the ink through the exit hole of said body.
One option of realization of the transmission is that it comprises a pinon, connected to the engine, that meshes with a rack attached to the rod. Thus, turning the pin advances the rack that moves the rod and this to the plunger, providing ink to the tattoo machine. To improve the gear, one option is to place a pusher that approximates the rack to the pinon, in this way a continuous contact between the two is achieved.
Another embodiment is that the transmission comprises an endless screw, connected to the engine, around which a nut attached to the rod runs, the nut comprises at least one tongue that runs into a groove along a housing that Wraps around the worm, in this way the rotation movement of the worm is translated into a linear movement of the nut that moves the rod and this the plunger, providing ink to the tattoo machine.
Advantageously, when different colors are required to develop the art of tattooing, the impeller can be provided with a plurality of dispensing assemblies, that is, one for each color of ink to be used.
For example, the dispensing assemblies can be arranged around the transmission, and the fixing of their stems to the transmission is carried out alternately according to the ink color that at that time is desired to be used. In this case, any of the dispensing assemblies can be operated, as required in the elaboration of the tattoo, by a single drive assembly. However, an independent drive assembly could be used for each dispenser assembly.
In both cases, it is possible to comfortably have the range of colors required by the tattoo design to be made, without having to disassemble and mount the dispenser assemblies on the injector whenever it is required to change color.
To improve the activation of the impeller, it is advantageous to include a pedal connected to the motor, or motors, so that the user must not use one of his hands to provide ink to the tattoo machine. Even more advantageous is that said pedal is also connected to the tattoo machine, in this way while it is punctured with the needle of the machine ink is provided.
In order to regulate the amount of ink that is supplied to the machine, it is also advantageous that the injector has an electronic motor controller, or of the engines, in this way it can be configured, according to the need, at what time and how the engine, or what is the same, how much ink is contributed to the tattoo machine, and if a linear movement is desired forward or backward of the ink impeller rod, as the motor rotates in one direction or another.

Detailed exposition of the invention
Embodiments of the invention are set out below with support in the figures.
The figures show an ink impeller (1) for tattoo machine (2) with at least one dispenser assembly comprised of a plunger (1.1) connected to a rod (1.2), the plunger (1.1) runs inside a body (1.3), in this embodiment the embolus (1.1) is of a marble shape to adapt to the body (1.3); said embolus (1.1) divides the inside of the body (1.3) into two portions (1.31, 1.32): a first portion (1.31) through which the rod (1.2) runs and a second portion (1.32) filled with ink, which leaves of said second portion (1.32) through an outlet (1.33) made in the body (1.3).
Additionally, the impeller (1) comprises at least one drive assembly (1.4) which in turn comprises a motor (1.41) that transmits a rotating movement to a transmission, which converts said rotating movement that it receives from the motor (1.41) in a linear movement that transmits to the stem (1.2).
In the embodiment of Figure 1, the transmission is a pinion (1.42) that meshes with a rack (1.43) attached to the rod (1.2). In addition, a pusher (1.44) that approximates the rack (1.43) to the pinon (1.42) is arranged, ensuring the engagement.
In Figure 2, an embodiment is shown in which the transmission is a worm
(1.45) around which a nut (1.46) attached to the rod (1.2) runs, the nut (1.46) comprises at least one tongue (1.47) that runs into a groove made along a housing (1.48) that wraps to the worm screw (1.45). In this figure 2, half of the casing (1.48) has been removed to clearly see the worm
(1.45) and the nut (1.46).
In figure 3 a tattoo machine (2) is shown to which an ink impeller (1) is connected by means of a conduit (3), said conduit (3) extends inside the nozzle (2.1) of the machine ( 2) and to the tip (2.2) of the same where it flows into the duct where the needle (2.3) runs.
To facilitate the drive of the impeller (1) and synchronize it with the machine (2), that is, with the needle puncture (2.3), a pedal (1.5) connected to the motor is included
(1.41) of at least one drive assembly (1.4) possessing the impeller (1), preferably, said pedal (1.5) is also connected to the tattoo machine (2), in this way when the pedal (1.5) is pressed. it punctures and ink is provided at the same time.

To establish how much ink is provided at each motor activation (1.41) of at least one drive assembly (1.4), connected thereto is an electronic controller (1.6) thereof. In figure 3, said controller (1.6) is mounted on an electronic board, PCB, of the usual ones, including the own and known components necessary for its operation: resistors, capacitors, etc.
On the other hand, the injector (1) may comprise a plurality of dispensing assemblies, which contain inks of different colors. Then, the dispensing assemblies can be operated by the same drive assembly (1.4), as is the case of the embodiment seen in Figure 4, where they are arranged around the transmission of the only drive assembly (1.4) with which count the impeller (1); or as many drive assemblies (1.4) can be used as dispenser assemblies comprising the impeller (1), embodiment shown in Figure 5.
In both cases, the same goal is pursued: to be able to comfortably count on the range of colors required by the tattoo design to be performed, without having to disassemble and mount the dispensing assemblies on the injector (1) every time it is required to change color .
Likewise, see Figure 6, the nozzle (2.1) of the tattoo machine (2) will be designed with a number of holes (2.11) guiding the ink towards the tip (2.2) of the same, equal to the number of sets Different color ink dispensers used.
Particularly, in the embodiment of Figure 4, the fixing of the stems (1.2) of said dispensing assemblies to the transmission is carried out alternately, so that one or the other embolus (1.1) can be activated according to the color You choose to perform the tattoo. For example, the bodies (1.3) can be detachably attached to the casing (1.48) of the worm (1.45) in the same way as if it were only one but with the option of coupling one or the other, and thus use more than one color without the need to change the body (1.3) every time you want to apply some other color; simply with the reverse action of the worm screw (1.45), this will contract the ink into the tube (3), corresponding to the dispenser assembly used, and it will be possible to clean the tip of the tattoo machine (2) ) and activate the dispensing assembly of the following color.
Likewise, it is preferred that the rods (1.2) comprise a plurality of diametral grooves (1.21) arranged along their length. Said grooves (1.21) are suitable for crimping opposite ends of an adjustable clamp (1.49) in the form of a clamp, the latter, arranged outside the nut (1.46). That is, the nut (1.46) will count, at less, with as many adjustable tabs (1.49) as dispenser assemblies, understand the injector (1).
Thus, when it is required to use a dispensing assembly of a certain color, the opposite ends of the corresponding adjustable flange (1.49) are moved in a directional rod (1.2) of the selected assembly, the opposite ends of said flange (1.49) being introduced into one of the diametral grooves (1.21) of the rod (1.2), the latter being coupled to the transmission. In relation to the rest of the dispensing assemblies that will not be used at that time, the ends of the corresponding adjustable flanges (1.49) are kept separate from their rods (1.2), maintaining the decoupling of the latter with respect to the transmission.
When it is required to change the dispensing assembly to use another color, the ends of the adjustable flange (1.49) that hold the rod (1.2) of the

dispensing assembly that is used, and the ends of the corresponding adjustable flange (1.49) are moved towards the rod (1.2) of the new dispensing assembly to be used, conforming its coupling to the transmission as described above.
The actuation of the adjustable flanges (1.47) can be carried out by any known drive mechanism, for example, machining, electrical, hydraulic, etc.
The change of dispensing set is carried out quickly, with a view to the absence of undesirable delays that affect the normal development of the work of tattooing. This is possible because the adjustable flanges (1.49) can be fixed to the corresponding rod (1.2) at any point of the path made by the nut (1.46) through the worm screw (1.45), and thus, put into operation quickly to the injector (1) with the dispensing assembly selected. In the extreme case where the nut (1.46) reaches the end of its travel, the electronic controller (1.6) of the motor (1.41) is activated so that the nut (1.46) goes back to a suitable position and can continue with the elaboration of the tattoo.
On the other hand, in the embodiment shown in Figure 5, the impeller (1) comprises a plurality of dispensing assemblies coupled to individual actuator assemblies (1.4), the actuation of the stems (1.2) being carried out independently and alternately depending on the color to use.
In this case, it is preferred that the pedal (1.5) be connected to the motor (1.41) of each drive assembly (1.4). In this way, by means of two manual switches (1.7), it is possible to start the motor (1.41) of the drive assembly (1.4) corresponding to the dispensing assembly to be used, while the switches (1.7) of the rest of the engines
(1.41).
Additionally, it is preferred that the motor (1.41) of each drive assembly (1.4) is connected to the electronic controller (1.6). Preferably, the electronic controller (1.6) is arranged between the manual switches (1.7) and the pedal (1.5) , thus, said electronic system (1.6) controls the power and speed of each of the motors
(1.41), as they are activated individually and alternately by the corresponding manual switch (1.7).
It is preferred that the impeller (1) be fixed to a wrist or bracelet adjusted to the arm with which the operator performs the tattoo so as not to hinder his work, very close to the tattoo machine (2) to be able to supply the necessary ink. Another option would be to adapt the impeller (1) to the tattoo machine (2) by means of a fastening system of the known, for example, a clamp, a metal fastener bolted to the tattoo machine (2), etc. Or another option would be to integrate the impeller (1) and the tattoo machine (2) into the same housing.
